Artist Profile

Virginia Mak was born in Hong Kong. She holds a degree in Philosophy and studied Photography at Ontario Collage of Art and Design. She lives in Toronto in the winter and spends time in Newfoundland in the summer. She has exhibited her photographic works internationally and is represented by Bau-Xi Gallery in Toronto and Vancouver, and Newzones in Calgary.

Virginia’s exhibited works include: Laundromat, Disappearing Woman, Letter to my mother, Side Street, Oh Ominous Sunshine, Hidden Nature, Tai Nan Street, Entranced, Of One’s Own, Small Song for the Firefly, Character Reference and Small Moments.
